Draw me inside

Where sunlight and snow

collide

To the trees towering high 

The scent of pine

Drifting by

Stepping into golden haze

Icy diamonds dance ablaze 

Still the soul

As silence comes alive

And the mind begins to 

breathe

Glancing in to 

forest dreams

A beautiful deer in 

sunlight beams

Standing still with 

strength and might

Our eyes catch hold with 

curious delight

A moment of wonder

Frozen in time

Free in the wild

Truly divine

Earth warm tones of 

golden glow

Leaves returning, letting go

Freely floating, gliding on air

Held by the wind, unaware

Scarlet, amber, copper hue

Illuminates an artists view

The gentle whisper of 

rustling leaves

Breathing calm in 

tranquil trees

Wrapped up warm in 

sunlit dawn

A brand new canvas 

has been born
